How to pay your fee

The fee for the conference will be £10 and payment can be made as follows:
(1) BACS transfer

NOTE: Please add your name as a reference with the letters “BroFee” e.g. John Smith BroFee

(2) Fees to be collated at a local church level and one aggregate payment made to the above
stated account. Please state name of church and add the letters “BroFee”.
Can each church please e-mail a list of fee payers to the Bethel National Treasurer’s email address:
treasury@betheluniteduk.org.uk. The list should include full names of individuals and indicate
whether they have paid directly by “BACS” or their fee has been included within the single aggregated
payment made by the “Local church”.

Bethel Men’s Ministry 2021 – 2023

Greetings In the mighty name of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ.

As announced in convocation 2021, we have a new Men’s Ministry administration of which I have been appointed as the National Men’s Ministry Leader.

All Glory and Honour must go to our Lord and Saviour Who has given me this privilege to serve in this capacity within His church.

May I also give God thanks for the work of our predecessor, Elder David Collins and his team for the work that they have done during their extended time in office.

Our theme over the coming year is:

Discipleship – ‘Our Call, Response and Journey’

Luke 5:1 – 11, supporting scripture – 2 Timothy 1-4

Should the Lord delay His coming, we will look at this topic in more detail, specifically around the preparation of:

• He who calls
• The state of the one being called
• What it means to be a Disciple and
• The on-going journey of both of them.

Serving with me in the Men’s leadership team are:

• Elder Dean Wright
• Elder Hubert Henry
• Elder Marlon Grant
• Minister Errol Swaby

Each leader has responsibility for a particular area of the Men’s ministry, where they will develop programmes and activities for our Men. These will be done in addition to the Men’s conference, which will be, God willing held on the 30th April 2022.

A brief explanation of each area follows:

• Biblical Integrity
  • To ensure that whatever we do is biblically sound.
• Men’s Health
  • To raise the profile of Men’s health, covering the whole man.
• Social Media & Digital Ministry
  • To ensure that we use these platforms appropriately and effectively as we continue to share the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
• Prayer & Fasting
  • Remains the foundation of ALL that we do. Every decision must be built from the leading of the Holy Spirit for it to be effective.
• Discipleship & Mentorship
  • To explore the relationship of Men of different ages and stages within their journey to fulfil the calling that the Lord has for us.

Working alongside us will be advisors and specialists, to assist us across the various areas that we have highlighted above.

As these initiatives develop, with your input and in particular the Men of Bethel, we hope to see a strong move of the Lord within us all.

We will support, with our time, resources and where possible presence, the various Men’s ministries across the UK & Europe AND we will also have a series of initiatives geared towards Men.

Initially, these will be:

•  Greater involvement within the Bethel National Prayer Call from early 2022
• Monthly Facebook posts, starting in Dec 2021 comprising: Reviews of Spiritual, Leadership & Development books/videos
• Quarterly Online Discussions covering a summation of the posts mentioned previously OR a topic requested by the Men

Correspondence & communication to and from the Men’s ministry will be via the Bethel UK email and Social Media platforms.

Over the coming months, we will have face-to-face and/or online meetings with you to better explain the above and get your feedback on how we can add to and further develop the Men’s ministry.
